The SEC West and Pats vs. Eagles

The Sec West controls the top 3 spots in the current BCS(Bowl Championship Series) rankings.  #1 LSU is playing #3 Arkansas this weekend, and #2 Alabama is playing #24 Auburn.  LSU and Bama are both heavily favored to win and this will most likely and hopefully mean that they will play each other for the national championship and get to have a rematch from their game in early November.  LSU beat the Tide 9-6 less than a month ago and this could possibly be a fantastic championship game.  Fortunately for Bama fans, if both the Tide and LSU win, LSU will have to play in the SEC championship game vs. Georgia and   Alabama will get two long weeks to prepare for LSU.

It looks like Michael Vick will not be suiting up for the Eagles on Sunday against the Patriots.  A healthy Vick could certainly run circles against a weak but improved Pats defense.  Vince Young, who threw three interceptions last week will be under center for Philly.  He is not as much of a threat as Vick and the Patriots should be able to control him and the Eagles offense.  New England is poised to make the playoffs and a rematch against Pittsburgh seems likely to happen.  All roads lead to the currently undefeated Green Bay Packers though, and the Pats will have to continue to improve if they want to win another super bowl.
