It's only week 3

As a fan of the game of football, it was great to see a team like Buffalo, who has struggled severely over the last decade, to finally find success against New England.  However, it was out course disappointing to see the Patriots crumble in the second half the way that they did.  Judging on how they have responded from early season losses though, I am confident the team will learn from this loss, and not repeat the same mistakes against other difficult opponents, especially with teams in our division.   Tom Brady will never throw four interceptions in a game again, nor will the offense waste a down by targeting Ochocinco.
Buffalo is beginning to remind me of the Tampa Bay Rays, who struggled so badly against their tough division opponents, mainly the Red Sox and the Yankees.  They fought through tough years and used them to build a solid foundation, and now they are just as competitive as New York and Boston.  The Patriots and Jets have dominated their division, and Buffalo has now emerged as a strong third contender.  As someone who enjoys watching football, it makes the season more exciting to have stronger teams competing, and as a New England fan, I am anxious to see how they respond when they face the Bills at home, and also how they bounce back from a very tough week 3 loss.

  2. I informed my aunt after the Bills forced their way onto the Patriots' side of the field, just before the end, that this was the Bills' inevitable victory. She said (in jest) that she wanted me out of her house. Now, history has vindicated me.

  3. Who has time for football? Sometimes I miss being an undergraduate. I will make time for the superbowl though.
